CIHE/CBCC's "Principal's Nomination Scholarship Scheme" aims to support DSE graduates who have outstanding performance on academic or non-academic areas (e.g. good character, social services, art, sports) and CICE DYJ graduate so that they could study for designated Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree or Higher Diploma programmes offered by CIHE and CBCC in affordable tuition fee.

CIHE two new Degree programmes, Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence (BSAI) (JUPAS code: JSSA04) and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy (BSPT) (JUPAS code: JSSA03) are now under the support of Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP) in 2021/22 academic year. Together with Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Digital Entertainment Technology, the other two SSSDP programmes, a total of four CIHE Degree programmes is now supported by the scheme.

Four Higher Diploma programmes offered by CBCC are now under the support of Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP). Eligible students of Higher Diploma in Design (HDD), Higher Diploma in Health Care (HDHC) , Higher Diploma in Pharmaceutical Dispensing (HDPD), Higher Diploma in Enrolled Nursing (General) (HDEN) and Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management (HDHM) programmes can receive the annual subsidy amount of $38,400 or $22,050 in the 2021/22 academic year. In 2021/22 academic year, the Government provides a non-means-tested annual subsidy of HK$33,100 for eligible new and continuing students pursuing full-time locally-accredited local and non-local self-financing undergraduate (including top-up degree) programmes in Hong Kong (except for those enrolled in places already support under the Student Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP)) offered by eligible institutions participating in the scheme.
This scheme is administrated by the Student Finance Office of Student Financial Assistance Agency (SFAA – SFO) to provide means-tested financial assistance to needy full-time students pursuing locally-accredited, self-financing pose-secondary education programmes at the level of sub-degree or bachelor’s degree.

According with the spirit of Catholic ethos, we need to show our care and concern for the disadvantaged groups and the needy people. For students of CIHE and CBCC who cannot supported by the assistance of FASP and NLSPS, Caritas Student Financial Assistance Scheme (Lenten Fund) aims at reducing their financial burden for their study.
This bursary is donated by the S. K. Yee Medical Foundation. It aims to award 5 bursaries of HK$10,000 to provide assistance to full-time CIHE/CBCC students pursuing Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) or Higher Diploma in Pharmaceutical Dispensing with financial difficulties.
